Very quiet although it is in the centre of Funchal, just behind the La Vie Shopping Center including a 9h/24h pharmacy and Pingo Doce supermarket. 10 minutes flat walking distance from the Cathedral, the Municipal Garden and Santa Catarina Park, the Ritz Cafe, the Theatre Cafe and the Golden Grand Cafe or the Marina where most buses stop. Car park is done on the street in paid metres. It has recently been restored. The apartment has free WiFi internet connection. Accommodation 2 bedrooms, one with a queen double bed and the other one is very large with 2 single beds, and a sofa double bed. With a window opening onto the balcony with a view over the rooftops, mountains, church and a glimpse of the sea. Large wardrobes. 2 bathrooms, one en-suite to main bedroom with toilet, bath with shower and the other one with toilet and enclosure shower. Kitchen with a breakfast bar opening to the living/dining room fully equipped. The living/dining room is fitted with 2 piece suite and the sofa is a double bed, dining table with 6 chairs, TV, cable TV, free WiFi and DVD. Large window opening onto the balcony with a view over the rooftops and the mountains. Cleaning and linen change is done once a week. Mobile electric heaters are provided for Winter use.
