The Gathering Place

Relax, unwind, and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the Nebraska Sandhills. This rustic bunkhouse will comfortably sleep four and features a full kitchen, 3/4 bath, and laundry. Take advantage of kayaking the Niobrara River, spending time at Merritt Reservoir, taking long walks with scenic views, fishing, hunting, visiting the winery, hiking, experiencing farming and ranching, or just enjoying a book by the pond. You're sure to leave renewed and refreshed and planning your next visit! The space The Gathering Place is a spacious cabin with open bedroom, kitchen, dining and living combo. Shared spaces include a firepit, pond, flower garden, and main house patios. Guest access The fire pit is located behind the main house to the northwest of your cabin and is available for use! You'll find yourself wanting to linger among the running water and beautiful gardens, in the summer months! All roads and trails are open to walking and exploring! You may catch glimpses of local wildlife: deer, rabbit, antelope, coyotes, birds, geese, ducks, and goats.
