Unwind and relax at the Toasted Marshmallow Log Cabin, a peaceful, stylish log cabin located in Hope, Alaska. This unique cabin is located in the heart of Hope within walking distance to the downtown gift shops and restaurants, but far enough away to maintain peace and tranquility. At the Toasted Marshmallow Cabin, you can truly get away from it all. Take time to curl up with a book, toast some marshmallows, enjoy the bathroom heated floors, and nestle up in this cozy cabin. The space The Toasted Marshmallow is a private cabin located on a 6.5 acre family property, in heart of Hope, Alaska. You are within walking distance to restaurants but once you arrive at the cabin, you will feel like you have your own wooded and secluded paradise with nothing in sight but nature. Popular attractions and top restaurants include The Dirty Skillet Cafe & Bear Creek Lodge, Creekbend Cafe, Turnagain Kayak Coffeehouse, Grounds of Hope Coffee shop, and two different gift shops! We also have a community run historic museum that shares the deep and enriched history of this gorgeous town. The owners live at the main house with their toddler and Australian Shepherd. The cabin faces away towards the woods and feels very private. You also have your own fire pit area. Please provide your own wood. We will be around if needed, but would love to give you privacy on your trip! There is a private entrance and fire-pit area for guests, as well as a large area for parking. This is a studio cabin with a queen bed, small kitchenette with a mini-fridge, microwave and sink, dining table, and large heated-floor bathroom. You should have everything you need for a beautiful and relaxing weekend in Hope, Alaska! Other things to note Check-out is at 11 AM. We will charge an extra $25 per hour past the checkout time. We charge a $50 pet fee and must be told about pets prior to arrival. If you leave the cabin, you must bring your pets with you or leave them in the car. Failure to do so will result in a $150 additional cleaning fee. There is no smoking allowed in the cabin. If you have more than two guests, it is an extra $25 per person. If you lose your key to the cabin upon departure, you will be charged $125. If you have unidentified guests that you did not include on your Airbnb checkin, you will be charged $100 plus the original $25 extra guest fee. This is a safety issue. If you have an identified guest and they have an extra vehicle, you will be charged $100 in addition. We have children and that is why we have the highest security checks on our property. Extra guests, cars, and pets threaten our security and increase our cleaning and amenities cost. Please respect our rules as this is our residence and we have children. We love dogs and guests but it is our home and need to be aware of pets and extra guests.
