Relax in this brand new upstairs loft with views of the sunset and sunrise, lofted queen bed accessed by a sturdy ship ladder, kitchenette, full bath, deep tub and walk in shower. Access is through a shared breezeway and stairs. Once upstairs you have a complete apartment to yourself. There is a pullout couch directly adjacent to the bathroom that can be made into a full size bed as an alternative or additional sleep surface. The space We are located a few blocks from Whatcom falls park, the railroad trail and Galbraith mountain biking trails. Barkley Village is also quite close where you can find groceries, restaurants and a tap house. Our property is situated on a corner lot, the driveway is on Texas Street to the south. There is ample space in the locked breezeway to store bikes, skis or other outdoor equipment. An outdoor shower with hot water is located outside the back breezeway door. There is also a table and chairs in front of the garage for your use. Guest access The upstairs apartment is accessed through a shared breezeway that our family also uses to enter and exit our home. You are likely to see us coming and going but our presence is not required at check in. There is storage for three pairs of skis, and two bikes in the breezeway.  Other things to note ***PLEASE NOTE*** ***the queen size bed is accessed by a ladder*** if you are not comfortable with the ladder you can opt to sleep on the pullout couch. *It should also be noted that you will likely see us coming and going through the breezeway which is a shared access point. Once you are upstairs you have complete privacy, we cannot hear you and you cannot hear us (minus the garage door opening and closing on occasion) There are no shared walls with our home. *There is only one sink in the apartment in the bathroom that is used for both hygiene and dish washing. * There is no TV in the flat, but you are welcome to connect to our Wi-Fi with your device.
