Charming Countryside Cottage

Escape to our cute countryside cottage on the picturesque island of Orust, part of the stunning coast landscape of Bohuslän. This charming 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house offers a perfect blend of early 1900s and modern amenities. Relax in the cozy living room with a traditional tiled stove, gather for meals in the wonderful dining room, or explore the large garden. The space The downstairs area features a hallway, a small bathroom, the master bedroom, dining room, living room, and kitchen. Upstairs, you'll find a bathroom with a bathtub, a double bedroom, and a kids' room with a bunk bed (please note the weight limit for the upper bunk bed). Located in a quiet neighborhood with very little traffic, our cottage is surrounded by farms, forests, and the sea. The island of Orust offers numerous scenic spots within short car distances, including the natural reserves of "Råssö" and "Svanvik". Don't miss the beautiful swimming spot at the cliffs of Svanvik. Convenient amenities include private parking for up to three cars and a nearby bus stop. The closest supermarket, cafe, and pizzeria are just 5km away in Varekil, while Stenungsund offers more shopping possibilities just 25 minutes by car. The vibrant city of Gothenburg is also within reach, just 70km away by car. Guest access Guests have complete access to the house, except one room on the upper floor, which is where we store our personal belongings. The garden is accessed exclusively by the guests. A part of the barn can be accessed as well to park bikes, strollers, or other bulky items. The main part of the barn is locked, since we store some personal belongs there. The garden features a "play house" for kids, which can be used by the guests. Other things to note Shower towels, pillow covers, and duvet covers can be rented for a fee of 100 SEK per bed. Bed sheets are included in the price. Water comes from our own well, filtered and tested yearly for quality.
