Bear Lake Bliss - 3bd/2ba Lakefront & Private Dock

Come visit crystal clear Bear Lake with deck and patio overlooking the water. This sand-bottom lake stays shallow for 50 yards and is accessible just a few steps down from the house. Private lakefront access with dock. This house can be used year-round for many nearby attractions including: Arcadia Bluffs Golf Course - 16 minutes away Crystal Mountain Ski Resort - 20 minutes away Little River Casino - 16 minutes away Sleeping Bear Dunes - 30 minutes away The space Neighbors: This property is between two other lake houses that are very near. If you're looking for extreme privacy on your travels, this may not be the right place for you. We ask that guests be respectful with noise after 11pm and before 9am. This house is on a busy road. Beach/Swimming: You can swim in the lake directly from the property. While kids generally love to swim in front of the cottage, they do need to climb down the stairs from the cottage to the dock. There are rocks along the shoreline. There is not a sandy beach on the shoreline, though our lake access is shallow and has a sandy bottom. Grocery Store: Saddle Up Convenience Store and Bear Lake Market are both located less than a mile away. There’s a Meijer in Manistee (15 min drive). Getting around Parking: Extremely limited. You can fit two cars MAXIMUM if one is under the carport. Handicap Accessible: Getting down to the water could be difficult if you have limited mobility. The steps are concrete and somewhat narrow. The main floor of the house is fairly accessible with only a few steps but does not have ramps. Fishing: Bear Lake is known for its excellent fishing. Please be sure to bring your own poles as there are none at this property. Also, in order to fish in Michigan lakes and rivers, one is required to hold a fishing license. Boat Launch: There is a public boat launch on Bear Lake, however there is no space for trailer parking on the property, nor is there a boat lift available for use. Guest access Guests get access to the entire house except for the utility/storage rooms. There is a private deck, patio and dock for guests to enjoy.
