We are within walking distance of Antigua Guatemala's most famous street, “La Calle del Arco”, the central park and within walking distance of some of the most popular bars/restaurants, tourist and sightseeing sites and shops in the historic center. This place has a strategic location: Enjoy the experience of living like a local in Antigua Guatemala, with us you will feel at home. The space We have 3 comfortable and private rooms. (2 double rooms and 1 double room). Remember this is a guest house, not a hotel. Guest access Guests can access the hallways and patio. Please be respectful of the other guests and their space. During your stay We are more than willing to help and advise you the best we can during your stay with us. If you need help planning your trip, we can gladly recommend an excellent tour operator in the city. Other things to note The handmade macramé pieces of art, Ana n'tea, that decorate the rooms are for sale, as are the Periplo tote bags that are displayed in the hallway. If you have any questions about this, ask the host. Guatemala is known as the country of eternal spring. Climate temperatures don't vary much during the day, and tend to stay at 22 to 25 degrees Celsius. Around 6 pm, as the sun begins to set, temperatures begin to drop. A thin jacket or sweater is usually enough to defend against the cold at night. ENJOY THIS ENVIOUS CLIMATE!! During Lent and Holy Week (now declared a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity) it is a Guatemalan tradition to make carpets depicting folkloric and religious figures with sawdust, corozo flower, roses, palm leaves and other organic materials. It's a good reason to get together with family and friends to make one of them. If you want to make a carpet during your stay (March – April) we could gladly organize it. Just let us know.
