This spacious room with its own private entrance is in a great central location. The room is located at the back of the main house with views over the veg patch. It has its own driveway and parking space so you can come and go as you please. There is a king size bed, ensuite shower and toilet, and a lounge area which opens up on to a sunny courtyard. A toaster, microwave and kettle are provided in the room. No other cooking facilities. The space The property is a short stroll to the beach, a 10 minute walk in one direction to the local pub and 10 minutes in the other direction to the nearest Cafe. It is an easy 20 minute walk to the edge of town along a new beachside pathway, with stunning views of the Kaikoura mountains along the way. There is tea, coffee and milk provided in the room, along with complimentary beers from the local craft brewery. Plus, the hosts often share fruits and vegetables from their plentiful garden when in season Guest access Guests will have access to the courtyard area directly outside their room. We are more than happy to give you a tour of the rest of our garden on request (including many exotic fruit trees & a treehouse for the kids!) During your stay We are a sociable couple with 2 young inquisitive daughters who are always eager to meet new guests, however we are also happy to respect your privacy and leave you alone to enjoy your stay. With your own private entrance and separate driveway it is possible we will not cross paths unless we are using our garage, washing line or vegetable garden. Other things to note The room has 1 king bed which can be split into 2 singles on request. The room is ideal for 2 people, however, we do have a single futon that can also be made up for an additional person if required. We are happy to accept up to 1 additional person at an extra $20 per night. Children under 2 years old are free and we have a portacot available on request.
