Nestled within the grounds of a historic private estate, the Shepherd's Hut includes a private, wood burning hot tub, decking with a fire pit and a lovely view over the estate grounds. The space The Shepherd's Hut is furnished with a very comfortable mattress and high-quality duvet to help ensure a warm, relaxing night's sleep. Electrics sockets are well-located by the bed for phone charging - or lazy mornings watching Netflix in bed. Despite its size, we aim to offer all the amenities you would expect in a kitchen, including a gas hob and oven, fridge with freezer compartment, a toaster and a range of cooking equipment and utensils. If you need something that's not in there, just ask - we'll always do our best to help. Please note that the Shepherd's Hut does not have a microwave. The bathroom offers a surprisingly spacious shower, with a good supply of hot water. The heated towel rail will make sure your towels and nice and warm ready for you. On the topic of heat, the Shepherds Hut is equipped with both a built-in electric radiator, an additional fan heater and hot water bottles, making sure you're kept nice and warm, even on the coldest Scottish nights. The Shepherd's Hut is situated on a private estate, along with two private homes and three holiday cottages. All are well spaced out to ensure a sense of privacy, but you may encounter other residents or guests whilst exploring the grounds of the estate. The wood-fired hot tub is well located ina. sheltered spot behind the Shepherd's Hut for privacy. Ideal for night-time soaks and morning dips alike, the hot tub takes 1-2 hours to heat, depending on the outside temperature. Full instructions, logs, kindling and firelighters are all provided. Whilst our cancellation policy is 'moderate' (free cancellation up to 5 days before your stay), please be reassured that, given the nature of the accommodation, we will be happy to offer flexibility on this in the event of weather warnings for the area.
