The space Our space has a double bedroom with ensuite shower room and a living area with kettle, toaster and mini fridge. Just perfect for a quick break away in beautiful South Hams. Aveton Gifford is about 3 miles inland from the coast in an area of outstanding beauty. It is the perfect location close to the stunning beaches of Bigbury, Bantham, Thurlestone, South Milton, Hope Cove and Salcombe. Also, just 10 minutes drive to the towns of Kingsbridge and Modbury. Perfect for kayaking, surfing, paddle boarding, idyllic walks or just relaxing and enjoying the peaceful ambience of the South Hams. Only a ten minute walk to the famous 'tidal road' along the beautiful Avon estuary where you can launch your SUP's or kayaks and have fun on the water. Aveton Gifford has a pub, village shop with post office and a fabulous tennis court all a short walk away. A bus can be caught from the bottom of Rock Hill to Plymouth or Kingsbridge. Guest access Guests have own front door which leads into small living area with coffee and tea making facilities and small fridge. And then into a double bedroom with ensuite facilities which has a shower, basin and macerator WC. Large window with amazing view of Avon estuary and patio door onto terrace. Other things to note Please note there is no kitchen at our place but we do have a kettle and mini fridge. We can recommend places to eat locally and we have The Fishermen's Rest Pub only a few minutes walk down the hill ( Which is a 'drive up in first gear' type of steep hill) Also the WC is a macerator type of toilet which means strictly only toilet paper to be flushed down the loo!
