Frogmarsh Annexe

A very modern and comfortable annexe, set in the historic village of Woodchester, just outside the capital of the Cotswolds. Frogmarsh Annexe is a self contained annexe which has a generous size bedroom with double bed with storage, a hanging rail. A lounge area with small sofa and wall mounted tv, Kitchenette with fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave, air fryer, Tea, coffee,sugar, butter, jams and milk. Bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. Off road parking. Own access to annexe. The space Originally an outbuilding split in to two rooms. We decided to convert this space in to one main building, totally renovated to a high modern finished annexe/studio. We have also utilised space under the main house to create a generous sized bedroom. We located in an outstanding area of natural beauty, you can enjoy a peaceful, quiet stay escaping to the county side where you will find free roaming cattle and wild horse throughout the summer months on the commons along with the famous family run Winston’s ice cream parlour. A short stroll from the annexe there are rural walks leading to Selsey Common, Woodchester Mansion, Woodchester park walks and Woodchester World War One walk. We are also a few minutes walk to join the cycle/footpath which will either lead you to the small market town Nailsworth where you find artistic shops, cafes and plenty of options of places to eat. In the other direction the path takes you to the town Stroud where you will find plenty of cafes to choose from and the Shambles and farmers markets at the weekends. For those who wish to venture further we are driving distance for local towns and cities such as Gloucester 14 miles, Cheltenham 22 miles, Bath 28 miles and Bristol 31 miles. The Annexe is a great base for walkers, runners, golfers, cyclists, business stops, and people wanting to exploring the local history and culture. Guest access Access to the entirely self contained annexe is via the gate at the side of the garage. Access to the rear garden and you can feed the Guinea pigs grass if you want to, they’ll be your new best friends. Other things to note There are 2 dogs that live in the main house, they will have use of the front garden while you stay but you are more than welcome to say hello and maybe licked within an inch of your life.
