Lakeside Cabin Retreat-only 55 min from Trondheim!

Welcome to our little piece of paradise in Amdal on the lake of selbu (selbusjøen), only a 55 minute drive east from Trondheim. With its chic, shabby design, it's more than just a place to stay—it's an experience. As you arrive, you're greeted by a breathtaking view of the lake. Nearby (600m) is a beach that's excellent for swimming. A canoe is included in the rental for you to explore the lake. The cabin is in the middle of miles of pristine nature, with plenty of hiking opportunities. The space With a short drive from Trondheim, our guest cabin is perfect for a weekend getaway. Or if you are looking for a working holiday we have a room with a desk and computer screen that features a view of the lake. 5G network is accessible at the cabin. The area is perfect for families and a paradise for canoing and fishing. A 4-seater canoe and lifevests are included in the rental for you to explore the lake or go fishing. There are also plenty of hiking and sightseeing opportunities, only a short drive away. Our guest cabin is cozy, with a fully equipped kitchen and bedroom/living room. Our kitchen includes a refrigerator (with a small freezer cabinet), a double cooking plate, water cooker, and French press for coffee. The bedroom has a family bunk bed, with a double bed on the bottom and single bed on top. Bed linens are included and clean sheets are prepared on beds for guests before their arrival. The sofa converts to a bed. The sofa bed doesn't extent all the way out, so this bed is intended primarily for children. There is also a travel cot in the room under the bunk bed. In the adjacent annex is a second bedroom with a small double bed and a desk and computer screen. The cabin and annex has electricity and panel heating. Guest access Our property in Amdalen includes our main cabin, an annex, and a guest cabin. In the annex is a second bedroom which guests are free to use at no extra cost if they need a second bedroom or an office. Please indicate if you will use the second bedroom when you make a booking. The annex also includes a outhouse which is shared with the hosts. Children are welcome to play at the tree house and jump on the trampoline. Other things to note In the traditional Norwegian cabin style, the cabin does not have running water. However, drinkable water can be collected from a faucet outside the neighboring cabin. Also, in the traditional Norwegian cabin style, there is no toilet, but an outhouse. This outhouse is shared with the hosts when we are at the cabin. Unfortunately, It is not possible to reach the cabin via public transport.
