Guest access Attention: the rental concerns ONLY the first floor, the ground floor being occupied by a Portuguese couple year-round ( cousins of the owner). Upstairs a fourth bedroom exists, it will be locked(room not used for renting because the owners' room). You will be alone upstairs, in complete privacy!!! Other things to note A bus stop is 5 minutes walk away but car recommended. Excellent typical pasteurelia of the country (bakery, small cafe ideal for brunch) 3 min drive. The villa is located in a small village near Guimaraes. Typical village of this beautiful region of Portugal. Many typical festivals nearby. after visiting Guimaraes (historical tour, restaurants and shops) , you can climb to the heights of Penha a few minutes by car for a picnic in a superb park with an amazing view. Don't forget to take the funicular! Also make your way to Porto about 40 min drive. Small tour also in Viana de Castelo pleasant seaside resort (about 1 hour drive away).
