Some routes and times that might help. From the apartment, walk to the station, once you arrive at the station, you can do the following: *Big Ben and London Eye* - Take the overground line from the station to London Waterloo East (10 minutes, non stop). From there, it’s a 3 minute walk to Big Ben. *Oxford Street* - Take the DLR to Canary Wharf (9 minutes), then change to the Elizabeth Line to either Tottenham Court Road or Bond Street (10 minutes). *Covent Garden* - Take the overground from the station to London Charing Cross (12 minutes non stop). Once at Charing Cross (the most central part of London), you can walk 5-10 minutes and explore some of the picturesque streets, pubs, and sights until you reach Covent Garden, to get to Piccadilly Circus and the Westend is about a 10 min walk from Charing Cross, but is a nice walk. *London Bridge/Borough Market/The Shard* - Take the direct train from the station to London Bridge (7 minutes). *Tower of London* - Take either the DLR to Tower Hill (25 minutes) or the boat from Greenwich Pier directly to Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. The boat journey takes 25 minutes and is amazing! *Trafalgar Square* - Take the overground from the station to Charing Cross. The total travel time from the apartment is 12 minutes. Once you arrive at Charing Cross, Trafalgar Square is just a 1-minute walk away. You can also reach via Embankment using the boat service from Greenwich cutty sark which goes under tower bridge and is great for pictures. For all these destinations, you will be able to reach them directly or with no more than one line change, or sometimes just a quick platform change. You will be located in zones 1-2, which are the most central. There’s no need to buy an Oyster card—just use any contactless credit or debit card, which works the same way.
