Detached house in the countryside
Detached house in the countryside
Description
Undisturbed and quiet. The bedroom that the tenants will use is located on the attic floor, (2nd door on the left side when you come up) there is also a private bathroom with toilet and bathtub, and an attic room that can be used. The kitchen downstairs can be used, shared with me. The space The house is very undisturbed and rural, you can't see the neighbors from my house. There is a lake nearby, I have a canoe there that can be borrowed. You can fish in the water, but the fish are probably not that big. I have a terrace with outdoor furniture that can be used. There is no bus connection to me, i.e. it is 2.3 km to the nearest bus stop, and buses do not run often. So you should have a vehicle if you don't like walking. 🙂 Guest access Guests can use the bedroom, loft and bathroom upstairs. The kitchen downstairs is shared with the host. You can use a separate shelf in the fridge if needed. The patio can be used. During your stay I mostly live alone here and work shifts. But this summer my daughter is home a lot. If I'm home, I like to greet the guests either when they arrive or before they leave. I think it's strange if some guests just leave without saying hello if I'm home and inside. I like that we have had some kind of communication via messages before the guests arrive, so that I know a little what to expect, for example when they arrive and when they might be thinking of leaving. Since some guests leave very early. It doesn't have to be long messages, but that you respond when I have sent directions, for example. I also have 2 male cats. So I don't want guests with dogs because of the cats. They get very stressed. NB: Most people who send a request to rent, write a little about themselves, who is coming and what they are thinking about. That's very nice. Do not start a request with questions, write a little first about who you are, then you can ask what you are wondering about. You're going into my private home, and I like to know a little bit about who's coming. Once I've accepted the request, it's okay that there's a real picture in the profile and not a cartoon character or something. 😊 Several of my guests arrive at night, as they come by ferry from Denmark. It's perfectly fine, but I appreciate that you try to be quiet and not sit and talk in the attic. If you want to take a shower when you arrive late, please ask in advance if it's okay. 😊 Other things to note It is 20 km to Kristiansand city center, where I might recommend the city beach, the fishing pier and the pedestrian street in the middle of the city center. It is very nice to walk from the city beach along the sea down to the fishing jetty. There you also pass the fortress. There are many restaurants at the fishing pier. If you want to go for another walk there, Odderøya and Baneheia are nice hiking areas, and are located close to the city center. 30 km to Kristiansand Zoo and Amusement Park Norway's largest shopping center, Sørlandssenteret, is located close to the amusement park.
