Welcome to our lovely flat! Part of our 19th-century family home in Blaenau Ffestiniog. Enjoy the mountain view from the garden and child-friendly amenities. With a location that's walking distance from shops and the Llechwedd slate quarries, our flat offers Welsh charm with modern convenience. Perfect for 2 but easily made ready to sleep 4 using the sofabed. Bamboo Place has everything you'll need. Enjoy mountain biking with confidence by making use of our police-approved bike lockup. The space Bamboo Place is the annexe to our family home. A large 19th century, traditional house that has been recently renovated by ourselves to use as our multi-generational family home. While you may see our family out in the garden, you will have your own entrance to Bamboo Place which will be your own private, self-contained flat, with its own patio area outside. This means we're just next door if you need us, but we promise to respect your privacy if you prefer to keep to yourselves. Bamboo Place has an outdoor patio area, complete with bistro table and chairs for 2, as well as a police-approved bike lockup, so you can store up to 3 bicycles safely. The open-plan living room/kitchen has everything you need for a comfy stay. The TV has freesat and online catchup services, as well as board games on the bookshelf if that's more your thing. There's also a sofabed to sleep up to 2 people in the living room. **Please note if your party is only 2 people and you wish to use the Sofabed, there is a £15 surcharge** In the kitchenette we include tea and coffee with sugar and milk packets, as well as good quality cooking oil and some dishwasher tabs and fairy liquid. Of course there's the usual pots & pans, crockery and cutlery etc. Everything you'd expect. The bedroom has a super-king bed which can be split into 2 twin beds (please let us know ahead of time if you would like it setup as 2 twins). There is ample storage space for clothes and luggage. The recently redecorated bathroom contains electric shower, infrared heater and more than enough towels for your stay. The utility area has a washer/dryer with some non-bio tabs included, and a cupboard stocked with all the towels and loo roll you'll need. There's even a first-aid kit, just to be safe. Guest access You can access the property via the large green farm-style gate. From here you'll need to follow the path down through the garden to Bamboo Place. There's a sign in the garden pointing the way, and a sign right outside your front door, so you'll know you're in the right place. Please be advised that once through the gate, the path to Bamboo Place takes you down a slope and a small set of steps. This may be difficult for people with mobility issues, so please keep this in mind when booking. Other things to note Please be aware that the smoke alarm in Bamboo Place is linked to the alarms throughout the rest of our home. So in the unlikely event there is a fire in our home, your alarm will sound as well, so if your fire alarm is going off for seemingly no reason, that is probably why. We have stocked Bamboo Place with a fire blanket and extinguisher for your peace of mind.
