Have coffee & meals inside-- or outside, in chairs at front of house. Safe neighborhood. Good room for traveling nurses and doctors, visiting Professors and working professionals or house hunters. Quiet for sleeping day or night. Just 2 blocks away: pool, public library, jogging park and 3 other parks. Neighborhood pool. Front door is locked at night. In kitchen: table, toaster and microwave, smoothie maker, fridge. Pots, pans, silverware. Or Guests may use their own cookware. If they don't like washing dishes...can use paper plates. Cleaning materials provided, but guest provides own toiletries, TP and laundry detergent. Dry goods storage shelves in kitchen. Grocery stores, such as H. E.B., Walmart and Target are a 5 min drive. UTSA campus within walking/biking distance, as are eateries and Walgreens' corner drug store. Very handy small hospital, just 2 blocks. Large Med Center Hospitals complex just 20 min drive down Babcock Rd. The Rim shopping Center and LaCantera Mall, and Fiesta Texas all close by, 15 min drive. SeaWorld, 20 min. Uber and bus available; ViaTrans, and soon , Waymo. This house is a 25 min drive from Airport. Please note: Family home. *** No alcohol, drugs, parties, or smoking of any kind on premises at all. Also, No candles, no grilling (due to a previous mishap). No guests allowed into house who are not already booked here through Airbnb. (No overnight casuals). Very peaceful family home. Note: Hostess lives on site and small indoor pets are here: a cat,3 parakeets and a small, friendly dog. Please Meet Up with relatives, friends and co-workers at the many eateries, malls and shops nearby instead of bringing anyone home. Thanks. Guest access Guests can use their own room for resting and working; can use kitchen and living room for working and eating. Also, front yard has chairs and tables. Back yard has shade and porch, chairs. Guests can cook and store food in the kitchen. Can open window for ventilation. A/C set at 75 degrees F. Guests do not go into the kitchen pantry of hostess, the garage, or the owner's 2 rooms. Small library of reading material available. Guests can tap on hostess' door 24/7 if they have questions or concerns. During your stay I greet my guests and show them around and answer questions, for example: What is the wi-fi code? (it's posted on the back of your door). Where is the closest grocery store? (the drugstore on the corner; also H.E.B., Walmart, and Target a couple miles away). But I usually just leave guests to their own devices after that, as they are usually tired from traveling. Guests can ask me questions 24/7 by tapping on my door on my side of the house or by writing a note on the Airbnb thread; or leaving a handwritten note on kitchen table. Other things to note Please review the rules before you book, so that you know if you will be happy here. (No parties, extra or casual or overnight guests; no smoking, drinking, drugs, guns or fighting.) Note: this house is not one of those expensive, new fancy, remodeled homes. It is very "lived- in" a comfy, family home, and people usually book the room for its handy location and safety. The guest room is quiet for sleeping or day or night. Hostess and indoor pets live very quietly on site.
