As avid travellers ourselves, we know how important a home away from home is and we hope you will feel like it here! This 1920s character house has been modernised in 2019 conserving features of a classic home such as unique windows and good spaced rooms. Located at the edge of the "four avenues" where most of Christchurch city's entertaining and shopping is situated, you will be close to everything, in a walk distance. Or within 15 minutes drive you can reach surfing beaches or the Port Hills. The space The house has two flats, your space will be upstairs which offers a master bedroom with a king bed and a bay window to sit and relax. The other room has two single beds. Both rooms have inbuilt wardrobes. The flat is completely self contained, you’ll will be able to use the fully equiped kitchen including microwave and dishwasher, bathroom with a little laundry area as well as FREE internet with Netflix included, perfect to watch a movie after a day touring in the city. You will also have a private car park, inside the property. The flat is fully insulated and has a heat-pump, ideal for colder days. Guest access Self check in with key pad code. The Rear of the property offers a garden and a deck, securely fenced. Note this is a shared area with the tenants from the downstairs flat. Other things to note NOTE: The council recently removed the trees behind our house as part of a development project. It's currently an eyesore, but it shouldn't impact your stay. Christchurch has many beautiful green spots to explore. We can also help you in English, Portuguese and German languages. Baby cot can be provided upon request, free of charge.
