A beautiful Grade 2 listed weatherboard cottage built in 1830. Nestled in a small village of Staplecross East Sussex . The cottage is 5 minutes away from Bodiam Castle/Bodiam train station, 20 minutes from Hastings, Rye and Tenterden. Opposite you have a wonderful grade 2 listed public house well known for its great local food. The village has a shop, post office, snooker club, village hall, children’s park and countryside walks right on your doorstep. The space A 1830’s grade 2 listed beamed cottage in a beautiful quiet traditional Sussex village. The property has 2 bedrooms, bathroom with bath and shower, lounge boasting a bespoke fireplace with log burner for those cozy nights in. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to whip up a culinary delight (For those nights you want to stay in and enjoy the cottage experience) The bedrooms feature orthopaedic mattresses with hypoallergenic duvets and pillows. The bathroom has Egyptian white cotton towels for the guests to use. You also have your own individual towels in your rooms if preferred. The Conservatory has a hand made oak dining table and benches with views onto the garden. Perfect for having your breakfast in the morning listening to the birds. Walk through the conservatory straight onto a large south facing rear garden with washing line, seating area with table , sun loungers and bbq area. Perfect for relaxing, listening to the bird song and catching a bit of sun. Guest access Guests have full access to the whole house, conservatory and garden. As this is the my home and you’re using while I am away, there are 2 cupboards out of 6 in the kitchen that are locked for personal food items and no access to the cupboards under the stairs. The fridge and freezer in the conservatory are locked with my items in until I return. Other things to note Due to the size of this property we can only accept 2 Adults and 2/3 children. Trundle bed turns into large double/ king size bed. Will fit 2 grown up children or 3 small children.
