Welcome to Stonechat Cottage, a Grade II listed limestone cottage that dates back to 18th century. The cottage has recently been renovated to a high standard with modern amenities, but still retains its classical charm and many period features including exposed beams. Worth Matravers is a beautiful, English village in the countryside of Purbeck, and enjoys a delightful duck pond in the heart of the village as well as many original stone cottages. The space Stonechat Cottage is situated in the heart of the village, which is just a stone's throw from the stunning Dorset Coast. Step inside this inviting cottage with bright open-plan living room/diner with a beautiful wooden floor, newly decorated and furnished. There is a smart TV and a woodburning stove, perfect for those cosy nights in. Continue through to the kitchen, with the original 300 year old Purbeck flagstone floor and stone walls, bespoke reclaimed wooden kitchen units and zinc surfaces. Off the kitchen you can discover a small courtyard that offers a BBQ and a cosy space for two to relax. Completing the downstairs area is a well-presented shower room with a spacious walk-in shower, basin and WC and underfloor heating. Stairs from the kitchen lead up to a double bedroom featuring built in wardrobes and stunning views of rolling hills and sea. Take another row of steep stairs to a second large double bedroom, boasting more spectacular views outside your window. The cottage is decorated uniquely with quirky pieces alongside traditional cottage charm.
