Come enjoy a relaxing stay at the Mayfly Cabin situated on 4 acres of woods and located just 3 minutes away from world record trout fishing on the Little Red River. Whether your plans involve boating on nearby Greers Ferry Lake, trout fishing on the Little Red River, going hiking at Bridal Veil Falls or simply star gazing around the fire pit with friends, you are sure to enjoy your stay. The property is surrounded by woods and it’s not uncommon to see deer grazing the edges of the yard. The space The cabin is fully furnished and includes wifi and a 65” smart TV for movie nights in the den. It features a wood burning stove, with one bundle of firewood, for colder months in the dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary cooking and dining ware. Each of the 3 bedrooms have walk in closets with extra blankets. Guests are welcome to use the provided pack n play crib, should you need it. The laundry room, with washer and dryer, is stocked with cards and board games to enjoy while sitting around the dining table next to the fire. Outside, enjoy drinking your morning coffee from the front porch rocking chairs, potentially catching a glimpse of deer. The back porch is equipped with a propane grill with outdoor dining set. The side yard hosts a large gravel firepit area ready to be enjoyed! Plenty of parking is available under the large covered carport. Take advantage of everything Heber Springs area has to offer from numerous outdoor activities including disc golf courses to boutique shopping on Main Street. Other things to note Looking for things to do with young kids? We suggest taking them to visit the Greers Ferry National Fish Hatchery, then walking down to the playground at JFK Park for a picnic under the pavilion or bike riding in the parking lot, which also serves as a small trailhead for a leisurely flat hiking trail to explore the woods and climb on the big creekside rocks. If mom and dad need their coffee first, get your fix downtown at Jitterbug Coffeehouse (and maybe some hand dipped ice cream scoops for the kids!) then walk across the street to play at the brand new fenced in play ground at Seven Natural Springs Park. Bring your swim suits, sunscreen, towels and head over to Sandy Beach at Greers Ferry Lake, the perfect place for kids to swim in the lake or play in the sand for hours!
