Enjoy the Seasons of Beautiful Embden Pond!

Enjoy the beauty of Embden Pond, a cool , clear, and 200-feet deep Maine lake. Watch the loons paddle by you. Listen to song birds high in the pines. Bring that book you have wanted to read and lounge in the upstairs reading nook with a bird's eye view of the lake. Watch the soft darkness settle over the lake. Forget your worries in this spacious and serene cabin for two adults and a sofa bed for children. Here is the Maine you have dreamed of. The space The cabin is private. There are stairs down to the cabin and stairs to the water but that just makes the view more of a 'bird's nest' but not for anyone who may find stairs difficult to climb down or up. The bedroom is upstairs with a great place to read and watch the ducks on the lake. There is a nice kitchen with just about everything in it you might want to use is available on shelves or drawers. The outdoor BBQ is new in 2025. The open area eating area, living room, and enclosed porch is next to the kitchen. Just enjoy! Guest access You will have the entire place to yourself. Other things to note For those not familiar with Maine's winters, the ice on Embden Pond may not finally fully melt until around the first week of May. Afterwards, the water will remain cold but swimmers will find warmer water in shallow areas by summer. The pull-out sofa sleeps two children. Sheets, blankets and pillows are provided. Please look at the pictures to make sure that the many steps around the cabin are acceptable to you. Inside, there are also stairs to both floors. The WiFi is good and cable gives you access to spectrum.
