The space Luxury Space & Thoughtful Amenities The Velvet Blue Loft is a fully self-contained, 950 sqft lower-level suite designed for comfort and privacy. While the suite does not include a full kitchen (no sink or stove), we have curated a high-end "Kitchenette & Dining Nook" perfect for light meals and morning coffee. The "Boutique Kitchenette" includes: - Appliances: Microwave, toaster oven, kettle, and a Tassimo coffee machine with complimentary pods. - Storage: A mini-refrigerator to keep your groceries and Leaside takeout fresh. - Essentials: All necessary utensils, plates, bowls, cups, and dish detergent. Premium Amenities Included: - Spa Details: Private bathroom stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and a hairdryer. - Home Comforts: Fresh linens, plush towels, fast Wi-Fi, and a Smart TV with full app access. - Laundry: For our long-term guests (staying 5+ days), we offer access to our shared laundry facilities located on the same level. We will coordinate a specific time with you to ensure your total comfort and privacy. Guest access Seamless Arrival & Private Parking The entire 950 sqft suite is yours to enjoy, offering total privacy and independence. Easy Entry: Arrival is a breeze with our smart padlock system, allowing for a seamless, contact-free check-in at your convenience. Parking: We provide one dedicated overnight parking spot on the property. During the day, free street parking is readily available right outside. Exploring Toronto: If you’re heading downtown, we highly recommend the local public transit (just a short walk away) to save on the high cost of city parking and enjoy a stress-free adventure. Other things to note The Loft Vibe: As a stylish, lower-level suite, the space offers a cozy "subterranean" feel. While the general ceiling height is 6'4", please note there is a structural bulkhead at 5'10". Most guests find this adds to the "loft" charm, but we like to ensure our taller guests are aware! Quiet Environment: Many of our guests choose us for a peaceful home base while visiting family in South Leaside or attending rotations at Sunnybrook Hospital. To protect this serenity, we live in the upper portion of the home and are committed to keeping noise to a minimum for you. Eco-Friendly Refresh: For our long-term guests (5+ nights), we are happy to provide fresh linens or towel refreshes upon request to keep your "Velvet Blue" sanctuary feeling brand new. Sustainability: We provide reusable plates, cutlery, and dish detergent to minimize waste during your stay.
