This 18th century cottage, with mountain views, in a UNESCO World Heritage site is central to the whole of Eryri ( Snowdonia) with its breathtaking scenery. Close to the Llechwedd Zip World and also walkers paradise . A stroll from the cottage takes you into the Celtic rain forest and waterfalls, or a more energetic route up the Manod Mountains opposite to the lonely and beautiful Llyn Manod. Only a short drive to the foot of Snowdon or the beaches of Harlech, Borth y Gest and Black Rock The space This cottage used to be a farm workers cottage for the farm on the mountain opposite. The distinctive blue grey rock from which it was made was carved from the crag behind it. Full central heating throughout but also has a wood burning stove as an alternative/ addition. It is perfect for a romantic break, but with the additional bunk room, it makes a great base for a family holiday. The open plan living room kitchen/dining area provides the main downstairs space. The accommodation has a small bathroom with shower, wc and hand basin it is a short drive to the picturesque villages of Betws y Coed and Beddgelert, with their pubs, restaurants and shopping but the adventurous can simply step out of the cottage and explore this rugged and stunning location. Guest access A key safe is available and the code will be provided shortly before your stay Other things to note Whilst we welcome up to four guests and also two dogs bear in mind it is a small cottage should you plan to do both. It is do able and we have done it for years! There are 10 steps leading up to the high level garden with stunning 360 degrees views, and sitting area We only have room for one car and the parking space is not suitable for large SUVs or vans. If you have an additional car we can direct you to a lay by (500 metres away) which should be used for a second car
