Base yourself in the converted loft space of a family home in East Brighton. A five minute walk to Brighton beach & the edge of the Downs & half an hour on foot to Brighton centre. East Brighton is quiet. Local facilities are few, but it is very easy to travel from here into town. Note that the dormer is part of the property, not separate to it. I may be at the property during your stay. I'll be out of your way but around should you need assistance. The space A modern loft conversion on the outskirts of Brighton. A comfortable room with new double bed & mattress, desk space & ensuite bathroom. The room would best suit a person or couple wanting a few days away, wishing to be on Brighton's doorstep but away from the city centre. Also very good as a base for a gig. It's in the Bristol Gardens area; within walking distance of the beach, marina & the Downs. Regular buses to and from the city centre nearby. A choice of coffee shops and pubs in nearby Kemp Town which is a 15 minute walk away. Guest access Full and private use of the dormer and ensuite bathroom with bath & shower. Access is via the main property entrance & through the house. The guest room is not separate to the house, but part of it. There is not a separate entrance. My idea is to welcome you into my home, with the same ethos that created airbnb originally. The facilities are simple, clean & tidy. Tea, coffee & water are provided in the room. I may or may not be at the property in the main residence whilst you are staying. If I am on site I will be out of your way, but available if needed, for assistance or local recommendations. During your stay If I am at the property rest assured you will have your own space and privacy. Personally I think it's nice to meet my guests and say hello, then leave them to it. I'm happy to help with any local information or recommendations when I can. Other things to note USB ports & chargers supplied. Wi-Fi access. There is no TV in the room. Note that all parking is metered. If travelling by car the closest free on street parking is a 5-10 minute walk away. The public transport is very good, as well as taxi-uber options. The no. 7 bus will take you from the station to the property. Brighton is a great place to explore by simply walking around. I do ask for all bookings that as well as an Airbnb verification you have recent reviews and a profile photo. Thank you.
