The Escape pod is an off-grid haven in its own secluded garden nestled on the edge of Bodmin moor. Embrace the dark sky magic as you stargaze by the open fire. Our eco-friendly pod offers a cozy interior with panoramic views, ensuring an idyllic retreat. Far from the crowds, immerse yourself in the soothing sounds of nature and meet our friendly animals living in fields next to you- the chickens, alpaca, goats and ponies. The space The pod is a 3x6m space which includes a double bed across one end, with space for a travel cot or luggage. There is a table with two chairs, plates, bowls, mugs, glasses and cutlery. A small sofa that can be pulled out as a bed suitable for one adult or child sits opposite the table. There is lighting from rechargeable lamps but no electricity. Separate from the pod a short distance away up some steps is the kitchenette/ bathroom. This has a shower room with hot water, toilet and wash basin. The kitchenette has a sink with hot water, fridge, kettle and coffee machine and powerpoints for charging devices. This area is for the sole use of people stying in the pod and bell tent. Guest access The Escape pod is situated in its own garden area. The area is lawned with space for a fire pit (provided) and separate space to set up a camping stove or BBQ. There is a bell tent on the lower terrace from the pod which has its own fire pit and BBQ. We also run a small campsite in a separate field with a stream. Guest are welcome to take a stroll down to the camp field and enjoy the wooded stream. Other things to note We only have the one pod and one bell tent. The camp field is small- maximum of three pitches. We have created a space where people can enjoy the tranquility of the area and unwind. We do not take group booking but you are welcome to book the pod and bell tent together for two couples.
