Boho Glam Farm Stay-Right Outside Williamsburg
Boho Glam Farm Stay-Right Outside Williamsburg
Description
Step into the best of both worlds—our 1999 RV may look vintage outside, but inside it’s cozy, bohemian magic. Nestled on our little homestead, this is glamping with fresh air, feathered friends, and all the comforts of home (yes, we're talking hot showers & AC). Sip coffee while the occasional rogue chicken wanders by, stargaze under wide-open skies, and meet our crazy goats and obnoxious geese. Peaceful farm charm meets modern comfort, just 15 minutes from Williamsburg. The space The RV has its own dedicated spot on our 6-acre homestead, about 150 feet from our home. You'll have a separate driveway and your own parking space, located just 20 feet from the RV—easy and convenient for unloading and settling in! Bohemian Glamsody is a 31-foot Winnebago with two slide-outs and a whole lot of personality. We’ve lovingly (and painstakingly) transformed the inside into a bright, cheerful, and totally unique space full of color, creativity, and good vibes you’ll feel the moment you step in. She features a queen bed in the master, a full bathroom with a tankless hot water heater, a futon sofa that converts to a bed, a dinette that turns into a bed, a small desk nook, and an indoor kitchen. Prefer to cook outside? We’ve got you covered with a table, griddle, plug-in two-burner stovetop, and charcoal grill. Outside, relax at the table and chairs, swing beneath the trees, or toast s’mores by the fire pit under a sky full of stars. There's lots of outdoor games available to play too! And of course—our roosters! They love to sing the sun into the sky each morning (and sometimes feel the need to rehearse again in the afternoon). Most of our chickens now live in their fenced pasture behind the house, along with our goats, but you may meet a few particularly determined chickens that have decided fences are merely a suggestion and still wander wherever they please. Our geese, are completely free-range and I'm pretty sure they'll introduce themselves. You'll find chicken treats available if you'd like to make some friends. Just be prepared—once the animals figure out you have snacks, you may suddenly become the most popular person on the farm. 😂 Traveling with a pet? We’d love to meet them! Just let us know about your furry family member at booking. Leashes are a must—our chickens are fearless and, frankly, a little too curious for their own good. Be sure to add the number of pets to your reservation (you'll see it right under "number of guests"). We’ve created a simple walkthrough to guide you through how everything works in the RV, and we’re always nearby if you need anything at all. There is a binder in the RV with all kinds of great info. Below are descriptions of each of the spaces: Master Bedroom: • Privacy door • Queen Bed • Closet and drawers • Separate AC in room • Sheets, pillows and comforter provided Kitchen: • Sink, Stove top, Microwave (doubles as convection oven – but please note the RV does not have a regular oven), and fridge/freezer • Utensils, plates, cups, pots and pans, various kitchen items (mixing bowls, strainer, wine and bottle opener, cooking knives, spatulas, etc.) • Single serve Keurig and Coffee Mugs (we do have big 12 cup regular brew coffee maker if you would rather have that, just let us know) • Toaster Oven • Soap, hand towels, tissues, trash bags, and paper towels provided Bathroom: • Shower (Please note, being an RV shower, the shower is smaller and the shower head is lower than a standard shower. Guest access Welcome to your own little corner of the farm! You’ll have full access to the RV and outside areas—plenty of space to sip your coffee, stargaze, or just soak up the fresh air. There’s a private driveway and your own parking space, so you can come and go without ruffling any feathers (literally). If you’re feeling adventurous, ask about a farm tour—we’d love to take you around and bring you behind the house to meet the majority of the chickens and the goats. The geese generally hang out beside the house and they will be very loud and obnoxious and let you know how they really feel. A friendly note from the chickens and geese: there’s no fenced yard for pets, so leashes are a must. There are still a few that do what they want and wander around. The geese are also free rangers. Other things to note A few of our chickens are professional escape artists and still manage to get out of the fenced pasture to forage around the property. They're friendly, curious, and very interested in new arrivals, so don't be surprised if you find one hanging around the RV or following you around like a tiny feathered stalker. If a chicken starts following you, don't worry—they're just hoping you have treats. We keep chicken treats available if you'd like to make some new friends! Because some of the chickens do still wander and the geese are free rangers, dogs must be leashed at all times while outside. And one more thing: we do have roosters, and they take their job of announcing the beginning of each day very seriously. Occasionally they also forget what time it is and practice their crowing later in the day. 😂 We've provided a sound machine in the RV to help soften their enthusiastic morning announcements. There is another small Airbnb space on the property (a guest suite on the 1st floor of our house) so you may see other guests coming and going. They will also be using the separate driveway to access their space, but have their own parking space as well.
