We are close by, and available by phone or text as needed. The River House is easily accessible right off Hwy 13, in a quiet, country neighborhood in the heart of Perry County. Close by you'll find a large Amish community where you can buy fresh baked goods and veggies in season. As well as the Buffalo River Golf Course. We are located 7 minutes from the little town of Lobelville, and 10 minutes from Linden, where there are many little shops and boutiques to wander through and explore, as well as quite a few restaurants for your dining needs. During the summer, you can find Music on Main Street every Friday night in either Lobelville or Linden. Beside being on the picturesque buffalo River, we are also situated fairly centrally to both the Duck and the Tennessee Rivers, where all kinds of fishing or watersports abound. The Buffalo river Resort is located 12 minutes from us, and is an great place for canoe, kayaking, and tube rentals. Best to have a personal vehicle, public transport not available. You'll enter with a keyless door code through the front door. The River House is located right off HWY 13, there will be some road noise. This is the south, and right on the river, and while we love it, unfortunately, so do bugs, we have the house exterminated frequently, and take other measures to keep them out. It is still not uncommon for an insect to find its way into the space, especially if doors or windows are left open. We are unable to offer any guarantee of a refund for an occasional bug in the house just FYI. This home is in the process of being completely renovated, so if you happen to see unfinished parts it is probably because it's something we haven't gotten to yet. thank you for your patience and understanding.
