A tranquil attic retreat in the heart of Devon
Description
Stay in our charming attic hideaway in the heart of North Devon. This peaceful retreat is perfect for unwinding or exploring beaches, Exmoor and countryside walks. With notice, we can provide a full English-style vegetarian breakfast at extra cost. Both Ajay and Josie are trained in massage and offer therapeutic treatments. The additional beds can be arranged for family members/children. The space Welcome to our home! We are experienced Airbnb hosts and were among the very first Superhosts in Dharamshala, Northern India, back in 2013. Hosting is a true passion for us – we love creating a welcoming home-from-home experience for our guests. We enjoy meeting new people and sharing our home, while also respecting your privacy and space. Think of our house as your holiday home – please let us know if there’s anything specific you need to make your stay extra comfortable. As a special extra, Ajay is a qualified and experienced masseur, offering a range of treatments: • Indian Head Massage – 30 minutes (£25) • Full body treatments – 60 to 90 minutes (prices on request) If you’d like to book a relaxing massage during your stay, just let us know and we’ll be happy to arrange it for you. Guest access You’ll have access to our home, including shared bathrooms that are always kept spotless. There’s a main bathroom upstairs and a handy walk-in shower room downstairs, with toilets in both. Privacy is always respected, so you can feel at ease using the facilities. After a day exploring Devon, you can come back to relax, freshen up, and feel completely at home. During your stay We’ll interact with guests as much or as little as you wish. We know everyone is different, so we prioritise sensitivity and privacy. As a local born and bred in Barnstaple, I bring a wealth of knowledge and tips to help you make the most of your stay. Other things to note While our kitchen isn’t available for guest use, we’re always happy to warm up any food you’ve brought along. As a vegetarian homestay, all the meals we provide are freshly prepared and vegetarian, and we kindly ask guests to respect this during their stay. Much of what we cook comes straight from our garden, keeping meals fresh, seasonal, and nourishing. Food is an important part of our home life, and Ajay also offers authentic Indian cooking classes for guests who’d like to learn something new (and delicious!) during their stay. Classes are £25–£35 per person, including ingredients and a full meal to enjoy afterwards. Sharing wholesome food is one of the ways we make your visit feel relaxed, welcoming, and memorable.
