Welcome to Sunshine City! Your escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life is waiting for you in the heart of OBX. Our home is in Kill Devil Hills and is conveniently located near beach accesses, the sound, and all the activities and restaurants the the Outer Banks has to offer. There are toys and games for the beach and the pups will love the short walk to the Currituck Sound. The sound is a perfect place to watch the sunset while strolling on Bay Drive's wide, manicured sidewalks. The space Sunshine City is a traditional OBX Beach Box located on milepost 6. You enter the home into an expansive, sunny great room that houses the living and dining spaces as well as a fully-stocked modern kitchen. From the hallway, you have access to three bedrooms and a full guest bathroom with a tub and shower. Both the guest and primary bedrooms have queen beds; the third bedroom has two twin beds. The primary bedroom has a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. All bedrooms have blinds and ceiling fans. The primary and guests bedrooms also have blackout curtains. The bathrooms come supplied with one roll of toilet paper and hotel-sized toiletries (body wash, bar soap, body lotion, shampoo, and conditioner). The home is equipped with free WiFi. The living room and all bedrooms have Smart TVs. Under the house you will find a full-sized grill and prep station. Please clean the grill and table if you use it. We have a few boogie boards and beach chairs in the twin bedroom closet and beach toys in the living room. You must provide your own beach towels. In the primary bedroom closet is a cornhole set that you are welcome to use at home or the beach. You will also find puzzles and board games in this closet. Each bedroom has extra blankets, pillows, and sheets. The kitchen is fully-stocked and one roll of paper towels is provided. There is a Keurig coffee maker and coffee and creamer is provided. Guest access You will have full access to the the home and yard. We do have two owner's closets that remain locked. Other things to note Guests Please specify the number of guests that will be staying. Overnight guests are not permitted. Renters under 25 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or family group. PARTIES ARE PROHIBITTED Pets Dogs are always welcome at Sunshine City! We do have a few pet rules: Pet fee is $100 per dog, per stay 2 dogs maximum Pets must be approved in advance Pets must be well-trained ADULT dogs Please respect our neighbors by keeping your dogs from barking excessively and remember to pick up any waste, in our yard or our neighbors' yards. There will be an additional $50 waste removal fee for pet waste left on the property.
