This small, renovated studio cabin is ideal for staying in "Les Contamines Monjoie" and enjoying all that the village has to offer in both winter and summer. A village at an altitude of 1,200 m that retains its traditional charm at the foot of Mont Blanc, while combining modernity and respect for nature. Located in "Les Hameaux du Lay", at the foot of the gondolas, and close to the starting points for hiking and Nordic skiing. The space Located on the 3rd floor, with lift, this 19m2 flat is ideal for a couple and/or with children. It comprises: - A living room with a dining area, TV area and a 2-person sofa bed (140x190 cm - real fold-out bed) - A fully-equipped kitchen (fridge, 2 induction hobs, Nespresso/Dolce Gusto compatible coffee machine/ground coffee, toaster, kettle, raclette machine, microwave grill, full table service for 4 people, etc.) - A cabin area with 2 bunk beds (90x190 cm) - Storage: large cupboard in living room + drawer under bunk beds - Brand new bathroom with heated towel rail and large shower cubicle - Separate WC - Bedding: 4 pillows, 1 four-season duvet for 2 people, 2 duvets for 1 person - East-facing balcony with views of the Dômes de Miage - Private ski locker on ground floor - Free outdoor parking in front of the residence There is no wifi in the studio but it is possible to hire a pocket wifi from the tourist office if required. Please note: household linen is not included. Please bring: fitted sheet (1x 140x190 cm/2x 90x190 cm), duvet cover (1x 240x220 cm/ 2x 140x200 cm), pillowcases, bath towels, shower mat and tea towels. Please note that the studio is non-smoking, parties and pets are not allowed. Guest access A 5-minute walk will take you to a convenience store (Sherpa), ski hire shops, a bar, a café and bookshop, and the ski lifts. Please note: some shops may be closed outside peak season. The centre of the village of Les Contamines is a 10/15 minute walk along the footpath from the flat. It is also accessible by shuttle bus. The Pontet water sports centre is also a 10/15 minute walk from the studio. Leisure activities: - Winter: Take advantage of the downhill skiing area renowned for the quality of its snow cover and its magnificent viewpoint, facing Mont-Blanc! Tobogganing, cross-country skiing, biathlon, dog-sleigh rides in the largest Nordic area in the Mont-Blanc region, romantic horse-drawn carriage rides, ice skating, snowshoe trekking... - Summer: 2/3 of the area is classified as a Nature Reserve. The nautical base at "Le Pontet" is a real plus for organising your day's activities: swimming lake, accrobranche, pedalos, climbing, tennis courts, equestrian centre and many other activities on offer.)
