Guests are strongly advised to take out travel insurance for peace of mind during any unexpected events preventing your planned stay House Rules 🍵 Kitchen Use Please clean, dry, and put away all utensils, plates, and cookware after use Use the range hood, exhaust fan, and open a window/door when cooking strong-smelling or fried foods 🧊 There is only a small fridge — cold storage space is limited 🔇 Quiet Hours 10 pm – 6 am Please keep noise to a minimum Turn off 📺 TV and AC 🛏Bedroom Safety & Hygiene 🚫 No candles 🚫 No heaters in bedrooms 🚫 Please do not bring meals into bedrooms 🚫Please do not dry your clothes in bedrooms 🗝When you are out of the house, please turn off all lights/ electrical items close window and lock the bedroom door. 🧺 Laundry The laundry shared with guests and housekeeping Washing machine, washing powder, and pegs are provided 🚫 No dryer available - a laundromat is located nearby 👕 Use backyard clotheslines for drying (or undercover line if rain is expected) 🚫 Do not dry clothes inside the house or in your room ⌛For one-night stays: Please limit to one short load 🚬 Smoking /Vaping There is a smoking area on the front porch. Please use the ashtray provided. Please avoid smoking right next to the front door. Smoking inside the house will result in immediate cancellation of booking. Safety and Hygiene If you have any questions or need to raise a concern, please contact the host immediately via the Airbnb App. For any urgent matters, please knock on my door. 👥 Visitors Maximum 1 visitor per guest Visitors may briefly enter common areas during the day You must inform the host before they enter 🚫 Visitors are not permitted in bedrooms Longer and frequent visits require the person to be added to the booking 🧳 Checkout Checkout is strictly before 10:00 AM and is non-negotiable. Late checkout is NOT offered. Guests remaining in the room or common areas past 10:00 AM will incur a charge of $50 per hour or part thereof. This ensures the room and home can be cleaned on schedule prior to the host’s teaching commitments and same-day guest arrivals. Repeated late departures have caused significant disruption, so this policy is now strictly enforced. 🎒 Luggage Storage We do not have facilities to store luggage. Guests are advised to use luggage storage apps such as Stasher if luggage storage post checkout is required. 🔎 Left Items If you forget something: Please contact me as soon as possible I can arrange a pickup time Items left longer than 1 week will be donated or discarded Lost or taken keys 🗝 If you've accidentally taken your keys, please notify the host via the Airbnb app as soon as possible. Please return the keys ASAP. Lost or taken keys not returned will incur a $100 fee 🛏️ Long-Term Stays Fresh linen and towels are provided every 8–10 days Timing depends on weather and scheduling You are welcome to wash them yourself using the laundry facilities if preferred 📱 Host Availability Some stays may include periods when the host is not on site. You can always contact your host through the Airbnb app. Illegal activities Any illegal or dangerous activities on the premises will result in the police being called and immediate cancellation of your booking. 🤝 Final Note The above helps create a respectful, secure, and welcoming space for everyone. Part of your stay may be un-hosted - of course you can always contact me via the Airbnb app. 🌶 Hot Weather While our comfortable and affordable home is perfect for travellers keen to explore Sydney and the Blue Mountains, it is not ideal for guests planning to spend long days indoors, as bedrooms do not have air-conditioning.
