As lovers of tranquility and nature, we will be happy to welcome you to our cottage located in a small hamlet. Recently renovated, this small chalet with terrace will allow you to have a peaceful stay and recharge your batteries . Designed for 2 people, it offers all the essential amenities in a wooded setting. Plenty of options for walks, activities, and supervised swimming nearby, as well as shops and restaurants. See you soon, Corinne and Bruno The space Nestled in the lush Tarn Valley, the chalet is very bright and not overlooked; you will enjoy complete privacy. It is located in a small, traditional hamlet with few houses. Access is on a gentle slope, but once you’ve gone up the stairs, you’ll find a flat area surrounded by beautiful, majestic trees. Enough to settle in the shade and dream. The single-story chalet can accommodate up to 2 people; it includes a kitchen, a living area, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a separate toilet. The bedroom has a double bed (140 x 190) and a small wardrobe, and the living room has a dresser for storage and a sofa bench. A decorative fireplace completes this room. If you are coming with a baby, we can provide a travel crib, a changing mat, and a high chair (please request these in advance). The kitchen is equipped to make your stay easier and to cook if you feel like it! It includes a ceramic hob, a small refrigerator with a freezer, a traditional coffee maker with filters, a coffee maker with capsules, a kettle, a toaster, and all the basic cooking utensils and dishes. The bathroom has a shower, vanity unit, and washing machine; the toilet is separate and equipped with a macerating toilet (please flush only toilet paper, thank you). The terrace will allow you to enjoy the outdoors and a lovely view, in a quiet setting. No busy roads, just the sound of birds and the wind in the leaves. Garden furniture, bed linen, and kitchen linen are provided; the beds are made upon arrival. We provide you with a few essentials to start your stay (shower gel, coffee, tea, sugar, basic seasonings and condiments) as well as common cleaning products. Internet is available via a 4G LTE router, which gives you free internet access. The wooded setting offers the opportunity to take some time for yourself and, why not, to disconnect and unwind!!Increasingly rare! Please note that barbecues are prohibited due to the drought and the proximity of coniferous trees, which poses a fire risk. However, an electric griddle is available for your use. Enjoy the area to relax and go for walks (trailheads at the foot of the cottage: GR 736 and Sentier des Corniches du Tarn; see photos), Explore Albi, 38 km away, an episcopal city designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, or, closer by, Ambialet, a charming town with character, Brousse-le-Château, or Coupiac-en-Aveyron, all nearby, not to mention the famous Roquefort cheese cellars. And if you feel like it, you can go and explore the Millau Viaduct, or Rodez, with its cathedral and the Soulages Museum. As the cottage is located in a hamlet, even though there are walking trails starting from the property, a car is recommended. A guide to the region and leaflets left at the gite will give you a wealth of valuable information. Enjoy your stay. Guest access ACCESS You'll have access to the entire home and surrounding space In addition to the terrace, you will have access to a large, flat area surrounded by trees, located in front of the cottage after the stairs. For your information, at the far end of the property, there is another wooden chalet, but it is neither occupied nor rented out; it is used only to store equipment at the end of the season, and we never go there when the cottage is rented.
