The cottage is a self-contained accessibility-friendly annex adjacent to the owners’ home and situated in a semi-rural location 2 miles south of the vibrant lakeside town of Bowness-on-Windermere. In an elevated spot above Lake Windermere the cottage is perfectly situated to provide a tranquil base from which to explore the Lake District. Watersports, tourist attractions, golf, fishing and fine dining are all nearby and there are spectacular walks right from the doorstep. The space From the front door you enter the spacious kitchen/dining area with seating for four. A bright, airy sitting room incorporates a dedicated workspace area with lake views. The conservatory has a bistro-style dining area overlooking the owners’ garden & is the perfect spot for drinks before dinner. Double doors lead to a superking-sized double bedroom which can also be set up as a twin with 2 single beds. An adjoining dressing area gives access to a Jack-&-Jill shower room (also accessible from sitting room). Upstairs is a further en-suite bedroom w/ single bed & sofa bed. All ground floor rooms are west-facing w/ garden, mountain & lake views. Guest access The self-contained open-plan cottage is fully accessible and guests have a dedicated seating area to the front of the cottage, a patio dining area plus access to the majority of the 2 acre grounds. Other things to note Owners live on site and some parts of the garden are private.
