The Sedona Jewel
The Sedona Jewel
Description
Take it easy at this cozy, tranquil getaway. Tucked into Sedona’s uptown high desert and surrounded by glowing red rocks, this special home offers sweeping 360-degree views and is just a 7-minute walk to shops and restaurants. Built in 1962, this Sedona Jewel features charming retro architecture and has been lovingly owned by the same family for generations. Come slow down, take in the views, and enjoy the quiet magic of Sedona. ✨ The space *A few helpful details about the property The property offers several lovely outdoor spots to kick back, relax, and enjoy the surrounding views. The driveway is a mix of gravel and cement and is fairly steep, as the house is set back into the bedrock. The neighborhood itself is hilly, especially for walking. The home is owner-occupied about 75% of the time and is a two-story house with a separate apartment on the lower level that has its own private entrance. Both levels share the same heating and cooling system. Inside the apartment, the bedroom features a comfortable, firm queen-size bed, along with a couch that reclines into a full-size bed. For guests working remotely, there is a built-in desk that folds out when needed and tucks away neatly when not in use. Guest access *Outdoor spaces to enjoy Guests are welcome to relax in the covered carport area, where you’ll find the BBQ and outdoor dining space — a great spot for meals and gathering. There’s also an open seating area with a table and chairs where you can unwind, take in the beautiful views, and enjoy stargazing under Sedona’s incredible night sky ✨ Other things to note *Dark-Sky Community Notice Sedona is a designated dark-sky community, so there are no streetlights and it can get quite dark at night. We provide outdoor lighting and string lights for use during your stay. The area is hilly, and while it’s a short walk to town, there are some steep sections near the house. If you plan to walk back after sunset, we recommend bringing a headlamp or flashlight. A phone light usually provides enough illumination as well.
