Boasting gorgeous views of the park, large dining balcony, central location, huge living/dining area with pool table and bar, this six bedroom (10 person) apartment makes for a wonderfully relaxing holiday stay. It is located in the historic market town of Strathaven, South Lanarkshire. The town was granted a Royal Charter in 1450 and is located on the edge of the strath of the Avon Water. It's around 18 miles from Glasgow and on the A71, which connects to Edinburgh. The space Entrance: The entrance to the apartment is at the side of the building just to the rear of the large bike shed (which is for exclusive use of guests and can store up to 6 bikes). The entrance porch is a large area with hanging and organising space for many jackets, shoes and even several more bikes. Living Area and Kitchen: The very large living space incorporates dining area to seat 10, very large L-shaped sofa, bar area and pool table area. There is a large covered balcony area adjacent to the living area, with seating for 10. The kitchen is ex-commercial and so very spacious and well-stocked with open stainless steel units that make it easy to see where everything is. The kitchen area includes a large walk-in larder and also a foosball table area. There is also a W.C. on the ground floor. First Floor: Upstairs there are 6 bedrooms all with en-suite facilities, and a laundry room with washing machine and separate tumble drier. Two bedrooms have kingsize beds, one has a shower and the other a bath. Two rooms have single beds with trundle beds underneath to form twin rooms if required. Two further bedrooms are single rooms. Please see the floorplans in the property images to understand the layout of the apartment. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the 6-bedroom apartment including balcony overlooking Strathaven park and sole use of the side entrance to the property. The lawn area is not for use by guests, to protect the privacy of basement flat occupants, but guests are free to access the park through the garden gate which is overlooked by the balcony. The park offers a huge area for children to play in and explore. Other things to note Please note that the 6-bedroom apartment is situated within a building that has a counselling/play therapy business to the front. The counselling rooms have a separate entrance. There is also a small owner's flat in the basement of the property, which is accessed via a separate entrance to the rear of the property. Registration Details SL00219F
