There are two state parks and dozens of bike and hiking trails along the lake . Mt Mitchell, the highest mountain east of the Rockies and Linville falls and gorge are each less than an hour drive away. The space This apartment is on the ground floor of the main house and has a master suite with king size bed and private bathroom and a bunk room with two twin and two full beds and an additional bathroom. There is also a pool table, small kitchen, eating area and TV/gaming space. Guest access There is a patio available for your exclusive use as well as shared space on front porch for relaxing. There are kayak/paddle boards available at the beach as well as a raft and dock to enjoy. Access to the lake and beach is from the left rear of the property via a lighted path with 134 steps (lights need to be plugged in) Other things to note We are on a hill overlooking the lake. The trail to the lake is fairly steep with 134 steps and not handicapped accessible. This is a Non smoking property. No smoking in apartment or on property
