Entire Basement: Private with separate entrance

Welcome to MiCasa! MiCasa is a bachelor style basement suite located in a peaceful and friendly neighborhood of Devonshire Park. Guests are guaranteed to enjoy the privacy of the entire basement suite during their stay. MiCasa is only 25 minutes drive to the airport, 15 minutes drive to the Downtown area, 5-10minutes drive to Kildonan Place Mall, Concordia Hospital, Costco and other major shops. There are also paved walking/biking trails around the area. We hope you enjoy your stay with us! The space IMPORTANT NOTE : ***The host family lives on the main floor and keeps a fairly busy schedule. Because of how homes are typically built in Canada, you might occasionally hear some voices or footsteps. If you’re particularly sensitive to noise, please keep in mind that our place may not be the most ideal fit.*** The suite is a permitted basement built in compliance with the city building codes. There is a washroom with standing shower, an in-suite laundry, a kitchen with brandnew appliances such as, stove and oven, fridge, microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster, etc. Basic seasonings for cooking is also available. The queen bed with clean and fresh beddings will comfortably sleep two guests. For entertainment, a TV with Amazon firestick where you can access Netflix and other streaming apps is available for you to use as well as board/card games and books. A wifi is also available. The unit is professionally cleaned and sanitized, all beddings and towels are washed and changed before guests arrival. There are basic bathroom essentials, first aid kit and hair blower readily available. The in-suite laundry is free to use for stays 5 nights and longer, an extra $10 for stays 4 nights and under. Starter pack of laundry soap will be provided. Portable fan and portable heater are available upon request. There are security cameras on the driveway, main door, side door entrance going to the suite, and the backyard. Guest access There is one free designated parking spot on the driveway of the house for guests use or find one on the street. During winter time, an outdoor electric outlet is available to plug your car. Guests can access the unit through the separate right side entry door with a smartlock.
