This tastefully decorated waterfront suite is the perfect romantic getaway. From the luxurious king bed, dreamy wraparound window-seat reading nook and roomy jacuzzi tub, you’ll enjoy sweeping views of the sparkling waters of the Souris River as it pours into the deeper blue of the famous Colville Bay. The space Enjoy the ocean views from your wraparound deck over morning coffee prepared in your kitchenette, or pop next door to the in-house restaurant for a freshly prepared meal. Pick up a bottle of wine or shop for groceries after a short stroll into the town of Souris – just over the causeway. Seals, gulls, herons and bald eagles are regular commuters in this passage of water, and you can join them as a swimmer or on the two kayaks available for your use – launch them off the private dock out front! When you’re tired our and ready for s’mores, collapse into the chairs around your large fire pit by the beach and watch the sun go down over your own piece of heaven. Please note that the suite is in the same building as The Fiddling Fisherman Lookout, restaurant and venue. The restaurant is operational (12 – 7pm) daily (June-Oct) when the suite is occupied. Also if you book on a Thursday or Friday during July and August, be aware that there is live music next door and those evenings are quite loud. If you are up for a fun night out, you will love it. The guest portion of the deck is cordoned off from the space used by restaurant patrons from 12pm - 7pm by a rope. The lawn, fire-pit and dock is also allocated for guest use only, during booking period. Other things to note The suite is attached to The Fiddling Fisherman Lookout – a direct waterfront wedding and concert venue and restaurant. During an Airbnb booking, the restaurant still operates from 12 – 7PM (June-September) – we think this is a bonus! The suite may experience some noise from this part of the building, but sound proofing has minimized the sound transfer between public and private guest areas. Guests have plenty of parking close to a private staircase which is also the private access to the suite. There is no need to enter the restaurant at all, unless you want to, and patrons do not have any access to guest quarters. The area around the Lookout is residential, with the main town of Souris a short walk away, across the beautiful Souris causeway. Registration Details 1300769
