There's no place like home! Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. The Farm is a short distance away from town and only a half mile off the highway on good roads, where you will see many forms of wildlife. Plenty of open space inside and out. A peaceful place! The house was designed with a big family in mind. Enjoy the spacious rooms with vaulted ceilings. Plenty of tables and chairs for your family gathering. The space This place was home to many family gatherings over the years. It is a traditional farmhouse and we left many of the furnishings in place with your comfort in mind as this should be your home away from home. We thought about all the fun times and games that were played as our own kids were growing up. We work hard to make sure that our guests share that same experience. Whether it is a family gathering, peaceful get-away after work or a trip with friends, you will enjoy all the amenities at The Farm. Guest access Being only 2 miles South on 81 highway and 1/2 mile east on Oat Road, you will notice this house immediately after turning off. The south part of this 5.5-acre farm is off-limits as we are continuing to clean up the estate. Since this place is so open and accessible, we have no doubt you will love staying here. Please enjoy the front couple of acres where you will have plenty of parking on the west side, walk out deck from the kitchen to the patio and fire-pit area on the east side. Guests take time to relax in the native stone fireplace room that connects to the 3-car garage. The fireplace is locked for safety. This room also has a second set of sliding doors that overlook the outside east area as well. It holds the main Southwestern entrance to the house where you will have a key code to get in which will be texted to you 24 hrs prior to check- in. The 3 car garage is for extended fun with Texas hold'em card games, scrabble, apples to apples, colors and books and riding toys for the kids, foosball table, air hockey table, TV, tables and chairs for all kinds of fun and activities. We ask that you do not have drink around the foosball and air hockey games. Other things to note The Farm is professionally cleaned and sanitized. Self check-in, with key code texted to you 24 hours prior to check-in. Fully stocked kitchen. Black stone 4 burner grill on the patio area. All utensils are available. Plenty of room, tables and chairs for visiting and your enjoyment. Regular coffee pot as well as a Kuerig. Fire extinguishers are located by the North door, SE door, garage door, and inside the 3 car garage. We ask that you do not have any parties. The estate with the three-car garage can hold a small family reunion upon written permission from us. We collect an additional $50.00 cleaning fee for such an event. Guests will have access to all closets and spaces in the home. Guests will have access to a clean cement basement in case of inclement weather.
