The space El Refugio is part of an old villa in Agüero, a town of hills and green meadows less than 4 km from the Cantabrian coast. The property has 8,000 square meters of land with 4 buildings: the house, the forge, the workshop and the stable. For several decades, the main activity in this village was building cars. The Refuge is part of the house, a typical stone building over 100 years old. The house is located in a very quiet area, ideal for disconnecting. It is essential to come by car, as there are no shops, restaurants or public transportation within walking distance. The supermarket and the nearest restaurants are about 7 minutes away driving. You'll love the peace and quiet of the place, but a car is necessary to get around and do shopping. Guest access The refuge is a completely private and well equipped casita, which has a fireplace, own garden, furnished porch, barbecue, private entrance, parking and all the amenities you may need. Self check-in with a key at the door to the house. Other things to note The house has individual heating with a thermostat to keep warm during the winter months. Although the house does not have air conditioning, the stone construction helps maintain a very pleasant temperature during the hottest months. In addition, there are ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom, and all windows have mosquito screens installed so you can open them and enjoy the north breeze.
