“Step into Timeless Charm: Discover the Vintage Sanctuary of Toledo, Oregon"

Description

Welcome to our vintage Toledo sanctuary. Ascend our century-old staircase into a realm where time meanders. Inside, find vintage charm and modern comfort in our spacious apartment. Bask in sunlight on mosaic-patterned carpets, cozy up to the vintage fireplace, and savor epicurean delights in our well-equipped kitchen. Retire to luxurious linens in serene bedrooms. Welcome to a world where past and present converge harmoniously in Toledo, Oregon. Locally owned, Locally hosted. The space Our property stands out for its vintage allure, nestled within a community that values its roots and cherishes its history. Built between 1900 and 1950, the buildings here are not just structures; they are storytellers, each brick and beam echoing the tales of yesteryear. Toledo’s idyllic Main Street is more than a location—it’s a living, breathing part of our heritage. Toledo is a town of wonderful people, quaint roadways, and a growing Main Street. We offer six restaurants, four of which are within walking distance, nail/hair salons, a hardware store, and a grocery store. Enjoy bowling at Muggly’s, free sailing and kayaking out of the Toledo port, and vibrant yearly festivals like the Toledo Summer Festivals and the the Glastonbury Renaissance Faire in July, and Arts, Oysters, and Brews, and the Wooden Boat Show in August. Whether you’re a cyclist, runner, or leisurely driver, you’ll love the scenic 14-mile drive to Newport along the Yaquina River. Toledo is just 5 miles from Newport and the beautiful Oregon beaches via Hwy 20, offering a rare respite from the coastal fog, wind, and cooler temperatures. Guest access Guests have full use of the apartment, a private oasis for your comfort and enjoyment. Other things to note Toledo is a working mill town where brown paper is made. Occasionally, the wind carries the mill’s distinct aroma, affectionately known as the “smell of money,” in our direction. Adjacent to Main Street is a railway used by the mill to transport paper. Federal mandates require the train’s engineer to blow the horn at three crossings in Toledo, which usually lasts about 20 seconds. We provide ear plugs next to the bed stands for your convenience. The streets are well-lit at night, and blackout curtains are available. On Wednesday mornings, the street sweeper cleans Main Street, so please park on the side street or in the public parking nearby on Tuesday nights.
