Ocean Cottage - Waterfront w/ 2 private decks

This three bedroom cottage features a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances lending to an open concept livingroom & dining area. There is a large upper deck for outside living with stairs leading to a lower deck on the private beach. This quaint fully furnished cottage featuring cathedral ceilings and hardwood floors with large picture windows and a French door opening to spectacular views of picturesque Penobscot Bay. No pets allowed. The space The living room, dining area and kitchen are all one open concept with vaulted ceiling and picture windows featuring views of the ocean. The French door opens onto a large upper deck, which leads to a lower deck on the beach. The cottage features hardwood floors throughout with slate tile in the bathroom. There are board games, books and a large dvd collection provided along with Hi-Speed WiFi. The bathroom provides a shower, sink and toilet along with set ups of towels. The bedrooms are small but efficient with beds freshly made up, places to house your clothing and televisions with streaming and dvd players in each room. The main bedroom features views of the ocean. The cottage is an A-frame with additions, so it only features a guest room on the second floor. The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, dinnerware, many small appliances and includes kitchen basics such as spices, oils, Keurig coffee pods, teas, ziplocks, foil, food storage containers, bar ware, etc. I suggest checking to see what is provided before heading to the local grocer. Other items include are HE laundry detergent w/other laundry products, toilet paper, paper towels and paper plates. Outside features a Weber gas grill, outdoor furniture, inflatables, 2-body boards, 4 kayaks and a fire pit. The cottage features waterside one large upper deck and one smaller deck on the beach, along with a patio/grilling area on the roadside. The cottage has a furnace for heating and a heat pump for cooling. There is a parking area roadside that will fit 2 vehicles. The shore road is a quiet area which is great for long walks and biking. I only rent by the week from Saturday to Saturday. No pets or smoking allowed. Other things to note Upon receipt of your contact information, I mail out your rental information, which includes confirmation, arrival information, cottage rules, boat safety and departure information. Additionally, I email virtual amenities that provide amenities located at the cottage, such as fans, charging stations, binoculars, flashlights, cooler, air pump, life vests, iron and board, etc. For the local area I feature points of interest, scenic locations, activities indoor/outdoor, events in the area, items for foodies such as wineries, farmers markets, restaurants, outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, boating and fishing. I also note historic places and provide the local museums and art galleries. There is something for everyone even if you are an avid Maine traveler.
