Cozy Boho Bungalow in top unit of charming historic home. Columbus Park is an adorable popular neighborhood with rich history nestled in downtown kc just east of the vibrant River Market. Close to everything! Walk easily to cafes and restaurants nearby. A 15 min walk to the City Market and free streetcar which will take you on a loop through downtown Kansas City. We are also just down the road from Riverfront Park, Bar K dog park, as well as the Brand New KC Currents Women’s Soccer Stadium! The space This Columbus Park home is more than 130 years old and has beautiful energy and historic charm. Original lived-in hardwood and tile floors, exposed brick, & high ceilings. The unit is clean, charming, unique, has a boho artist vibe and is incredibly cozy and accommodating. However, If you are looking for modern or polished amenities, this is NOT the place for you. 2 bedrooms. One with a large balcony. Both bedrooms are furnished with comfortable queen sized beds, dressers and closet area. Bedroom 2 has a sofa that converts into a bed. Private Bathroom with shower and tub. Towels & toiletries provided. There is a small sitting area with a vintage pull-out couch as well. The pull-out is small and well-used, but decent for up to one adult or two small children. Art supplies, board games, and puzzles are also available. Smart TV to use with your own streaming service available upon request. The Kitchen has a very retro art studio vibe complete with a small old farm sink. Please note: NO dishwasher or garbage disposal. Must wash dishes by hand. One must be diligent not to let food go down the drain, or anything besides toilet paper down the toilet as these old pipes cannot afford to be clogged. Kitchen equipped with a small fridge, 8-1 air fryer, microwave, oven, toaster oven, electric skillet, tea kettle & Keurig coffee maker. The stove pictured does not work. Sorry. There is central heating and AC, but also ceiling fans, window units, space heaters, and additional fans are provided as these old houses sometimes need a little extra help when temperatures are extreme. I do just ask you PLEASE don’t leave them running while away from the home. I can also provide laundry and cleaning services during long stays for an additional fee. Guest access Guests access the apartment through the front door of the house using a key code. It is a shared entryway that leads to stairs up to your flat. Guests are welcome to use the front porch. There is a large front balcony off the front bedroom. There is also a back balcony but it is not safe for use at this time. Other things to note This listing is for one month stays minimum only at this time.
