NO LOADSHEDDING FREE WIFI (100mbps) SOLAR POWER AIR CONDITIONER/HEATING Our cottage is located in one of the prettiest tree-lined streets in Villiersdorp. The perfect base to explore Franschhoek, Elgin, Hermanus or the Overberg. Our light, airy, humble garden cottage is small and compact but has all the necessities for a basic, yet comfortable stay. It has free high-speed WiFi and solar power, which offers you a load-shedding-free stay, perfect for anyone who might need to work remotely. The space Our cottage is ideal for a single person or a couple but can accommodate up to a maximum of 4 people if needed. The cottage has an open-plan style. It enters into a small seating area with a daybed that can be converted into two single beds for teenagers or friends who do not mind sharing a space for a night or two. This leads into a larger space with a queen-sized bed and leads out to a small private garden. The kitchen area is equipped with a cafe table set for 4 and basic utensils and crockery. Coffee, Tea, Homemade Rusks and milk will be provided. There will also be purified water for your consumption. Unfortunately, we don't offer cooking facilities, but we do have a fridge, kettle, toaster, air-fryer and microwave and have a Weber braai which can be used on the outside veranda in the private back garden. The bathroom consists of a toilet, basin, and shower and is quite small. Unfortunately, there is no bath. Towels will be provided. Please note that the cottage is not really ideal for babies or very small children due to the space and bathroom facilities, as it only contains a shower. You will have secure parking within our property, right in front of the cottage. Guest access Our garden cottage is located behind our main house. Entrance through our main security gate will lead you straight to your private entrance where you will also have safe parking inside of our property right in front of the cottage. Once inside the cottage, you'll have privacy with your own private back garden. Other things to note Please note that we share our property with our 3 rescue dogs and our Tankwa cat Toulouse. Although you might have the odd nosey doggo wanting to come to say hello, they are kept separate from the cottage. Well, we do try to keep our cat, Toulouse, away from the space, but she might pop over to come say hello. Smoking and vaping are only allowed on the outside veranda. Please use the ashtray provided. Please note that the garden cottage is located on the same property as our main house, but once inside, you'll have privacy with your own private back garden.
