Little Fern is a true hidden gem. Nestled in a beautiful garden, surrounded by woodlands, this self-contained studio offers privacy, luxury and tranquility. Wake up to bird song, while still being within easy reach of Clevedon and the weekly market; Hill Road independent boutiques, cafés and restaurants; the seafront, marine lake + Grade I-listed pier. Bristol and Weston-Super-Mare are only 25 minutes by car - but Little Fern feels a world away. The space As you step into this light-filled space, you are greeted by modern and fresh design combined with character and homely warmth. The main space offers comfortable seating, perfect for reading a book with a cuppa – or gazing out to the gorgeous garden view. Drift into a double bed with fresh cotton bed linen, plush pillows and cosy Feather & Black duvet. Enjoy a restful night’s sleep as you sink into the deluxe Sleepeezee 1000-pocket mattress, complete with John Lewis mattress topper. The kitchen is small, but perfectely formed, providing a hob top for warming soups or morning oats. A microwave/oven/grill can be used to prepare meals. With ample granite worktop space, high quality appliances (fridge, freezer, dishwasher) and a range of beautiful crockery and utensils, you will be well-equipped for your stay. The dining space offers stunning views across the deck and garden. Enjoy a cosy dinner here or open the French windows and let nature provide a soundtrack to your meal-for-two, alfresco style. The bijou bathroom has been designed with high-spec fittings, powerful walk-in shower, heated towel rail, shaver point - and fluffy towels are provided. The garden is full of the most incredible plants, trees and flowers. Feel free to enjoy the garden during your stay. In the spring and summer, we often have herbs growing, which you are very welcome to use. The decking area is your own private space. We are just 25 minutes from Bristol and 20 minutes from the fun and sandy beaches of Weston-Super-Mare, Brean Sands and Burnham-on-Sea. If you would like to bring an infant, please get in touch as we can provide a travel cot and high chair, if needed. Guest access Please be aware that Little Fern is located in the lush garden of a wonderful Victorian property. We have renovated the access to make it as easy as possible (to roll a suitcase down it, if needed!), with plenty of lighting for night-time. Because of its age - and the nature of the land here - there are a few steps as you enter from the lane - and a few more steps leading down the deck and studio. The raised deck is connected to the garden by steps at both ends of the decking area. The deck can become slippery when wet, so please take care. Other things to note - Very sorry, no pets. - Our garden has a lovely pond, if you bring an infant please ensure their safety at all times! - Whilst Little Fern Studio has ‘Pocket WiFi’, the Swiss Valley can sometimes compromise the signal. But this could be the perfect excuse the de-digitalise and relax: which we encourage!
