CASA MARE BLU. A wonderful attic apartment on two floors of 100 sqm in the old historic part of Bordighera. The apartment with sunlight from morning to night has a large private terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and the French Riviera. Down in the fairytale alleys there is a fantastic range of bakeries, restaurants and of course the obligatory gelateria. From the apartment, you have only a short walk to the beaches and the clear blue water that invites you to a lovely morning dip every day. The space In the middle of the old historic district of Bordighera Alta is this wonderful attic with a large private terrace overlooking the Mediterranean and parts of the Riviera overlooking Menton, Monte Carlo and all the way to Saint Tropez on a clear day. The apartment, which has been carefully renovated, has three good bedrooms and two bathrooms, a large kitchen and a combined lounge/dining room for socializing. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove and oven to be able to cook all the different Italian delicacies that can be bought in the adjacent small grocery stores. If you choose not to eat at home, there are plenty of restaurants just outside the house in this old historic part of Bordighera. If you walk just 300 meters down the hill through a shady pine forest, you are at the Mediterranean beach. Here you can choose between rock pools or swimming from the 6-kilometer-long beach consisting of sand and pebbles. Of course, the beaches of Bordighera are awarded the highest rating for environment and clean water. The accommodation is located on the top two floors at the top of this house from the 1600s and the stairs to the apartment are long and narrow so the accommodation is not suitable for you who have difficulty walking stairs and not for you with smaller children. Other things to note It is important to know that the apartment is located three flights of stairs up without an elevator. The stairs are steep and long, which can cause problems for people with health problems, or small children. Even extremely heavy luggage can be a challenge. The apartment is just a stone's throw from the beautiful church tower, which means that you are awakened by the church bell that begins to ring at 7:00 a.m. every morning.
