18th century sheepfold for a romantic weekend

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway in the middle of a 2-hectare meadow. Located 120 km from Paris, it is a guaranteed change of scenery in this old 18th century sheepfold, restored but remained "in its original state". You benefit from the entire house for you, not overlooked and with your independent garden. We are not far away in the main house of the property should you need anything, but the 2 houses are totally isolated from each other. The space FOOD - Grocery stores, bakery (Orne Gold Medal for its Brioche Feuilletée), producer's butcher/delicatessen, early season produce (organic + exotic) 5 minutes by car. - Supermarket and "super market" (Sunday & Tuesday) at L'Aigle (15 minutes). ACTIVITIES - Hiking, biking (4 bikes available on request) and horseback riding. - L'Aigle: full of charm with its houses bordered by the Risle, the castle and its market made famous by the Countess of Ségur. - During the summer, every Sunday afternoon, free & varied concerts in the shade of the century-old plane trees. - Numerous garage sales from May to October! NB - It would be possible to accommodate many more people if we added the dormitory in the attic, but its access is by a ladder and we prefer not to take the risk. - For 2, the space is luxurious with nearly 80 m2 of floor space! - Completely renovated insulation, electricity and heating, the old sheepfold is up to date, but it deliberately retains its rural, even rustic side. NB bis But we warn you: this happiness is worth it! For now: - the last 200 meters can be muddy in winter (at worst we will help you with our 4*4 for your luggage) - bring your slippers, the floor is concrete, and you will only be more comfortable Guest access You'll have access to the entire home and can enjoy the garden to the south of the house, benefiting from the shade of a beautiful linden tree and a view towards the meadow "just for you". Other things to note No washing machines (no dishes, no laundry) and that's fine ;-)! Excellent 4G network and WiFi access.
