Includes Small Desk/Workspace) Extras: High Speed Broadband Cot & Highchair on request Microwave 2 x Off-Street Parking Spaces Garden with outdoor seating More about Clevedon: Clevedon Beach is well known for having the World's largest seawater infinity pool, which is within 1 mile walk (20 minute stroll) from our home and is free to access. Sauna available adjacent to the lake with reasonably priced entry fee. On the seafront there is a Grade 1 listed Victorian Pier that has a fabulous fish & chips restaurant. You might be lucky to catch a glimpse of the Waverly Paddle Steamer going by or even a porpoise or two! Also at the seafront there is a crazy golf course, free tennis courts and various cafe, pubs and restaurants. In the town centre, within 5 mins walk, you will find The Curzon Cinema, which is one of the oldest, continually running, purpose built cinemas in the world. It retains many original Victorian features and has a beautiful balcony with comfortable sofas for a unique movie experience. Hill Road has a well earned reputation as one of the finest shopping and dining destinations in the South West and is only a 10 mins walk from our space. Here you will find fashion, art, interior decorations, award-winning places to eat out and a whole array of gift ideas. The town has a small M&S Food and Sainsbury's, plus medium sized Tesco, Asda, Aldi and Lidl. There is a One-Stop Grocery Store within 2 mins walk from our home. Clevedon has several parks with children's play areas. The largest are at the seafront and Cricket Club. There is a Leisure Centre (Strode Road) with a heated indoor swimming pool and baby pool. Clevedon has two golf courses, tennis clubs and is part of the "Pier to Pier Way" cycle route (13 mile from Clevedon Pier to Weston Pier). Clevedon Craft Centre is on the outskirts of the town, offering small shops, run by a diverse range of artists and crafts people. As you enter the town, from the direction of Bristol, you will find a National Trust property, Clevedon Court, a medieval manor house with an 18th Centuary terraced garden and wide views of the Mendip Hills. 7 miles from Clevedon is Tyntesfield National Trust property, an ornate Victorian Gothic Revival House with extensive gardens and parklands. There is a coastal path to Portishead, which provides a 6 mile walk, with stunning views of the Bristol Channel and newly renovated Windmill Pub offering freshly prepared seasonal food and great selection of drinks.
