Fab Views in a Luxury Suite
Fab Views in a Luxury Suite
Description
Come relax in our stunning, family-friendly home. The master suite is all yours with a soaking tub and steamer shower. Watch the deer, ships, and eagles go by while you wake up in our modern home with unobstructed views of the Salish Sea, Islands & Mt. Baker. Share the living space with with Aliina and energetic 7-year-old, Makee. Enjoy a 5 star kitchen, dining area and deck while taking in water views, as well as a spacious living room with large windows, gas fireplace, and a yoga swing! The space Your room is normally where my mom sleeps. She comes to visit every two months or so, and when she isn't here, becomes our luxury spare bedroom . She has first class taste! It is fully equipped with a steam shower, two person tub, organic oh-so-soft-bedding, ocean views, and a closet full of Makee's toys! We are sensitive to fragrances, so the sheets and towels smell clean, but not because of scented detergent. Feel free to use ANYTHING that is visible or in the top two drawers of the bathroom vanity. Since she comes so often, we pretty much have everything you need in case you forget anything... don't be afraid to ask! The common spaces are inhabited by an artist (me) and a 7 year-old (Makee). We try our best to keep them tidy and clean, but *ALERT* don't be surprised if there is a messy project or two going on during your stay. Expect your room to always be clean and tidy, and the common space to be well lived in. I have lots of tea and sweeteners I’m happy to share, but don’t supply coffee. I have a French press and drip but no grinder. Byo coffee ☕️ Outside of our home you will find a big deck overlooking the bluff and sea, seating in the protected flower filled garden in the summertime, a large lawn, a 2 minute path to a lookout, and 40 acres of wooded trails just across the street. Guest access You are welcome to enjoy all the living spaces, except for my bedroom (sliding door on the left as you walk down the hall to your room). Kitchen, living room, hallway bathroom, dinning area, deck and yard are all available for your stay. We love to share and are happy to help you with anything that you can't figure out (like turning on the gas range!) I have plenty of tea to share, but am NOT normally a coffee drinker. I do have a french press and drip maker - just bring your own coffee if you want it. During your stay When you arrive, I am more then happy to get you settled and give you some locals incite if you'd like! Though, throughout your stay I will be busy working around the house, in the garden and my studio. I won't be able to spend a lot of time chatting, even though I'd love to! If Makee is around, he will be happy to play with you if you'd like ( ; When I travel, I feel comfortable asking questions and figuring things out if need be. I realize not everyone automatically feels comfortable in a new space, so please don't hesitate to ask for my help! Please don't be shy about interrupting me to ask anything. If I'm not around, just send a message or ask for my phone number. Other things to note I am also an art coach, teacher of all ages, and offer art excursions here at the house, in the woods, or on the beaches. Ask me about this specifically if you'd like to schedule a fun art experience. This is a hosted rental of a portion of a home authorized under City of Port Townsend permit approval # LUP24-006.
